Meet the Founder of Marketday

As 2026 gets started, I thought I'd say hello and introduce myself. I’m Michelle Hildebrand- founder, mum, coffee lover and market go-er!

We’ve built this brand from the ground up. If you’ve been following you’ll know that we are Brisbane based and just getting started. There are so many firsts when you start a business. This keeps you busy and focussed and a little on edge if I'm honest!

We’re excited about the months ahead! Our flagship product - the Marketday cart- has arrived in our warehouse. If you've already ordered, your cart will be either on its way to you or safely sitting in your hallway waiting for it's next trip out. If you haven't ordered yet, we're glad you're thinking about it. 

My last blog talked about making a considered decision - which is a good way to buy if you are living consciously and carefully in a world that needs our care. We encourage that. We're trying to do this in our business each day too. We're thinking about where we spend energy, where we let it be, making sure we have a break from it, but still doing enough to keep things moving forward.

This year marks some new things for the family as well with Uni starting back for both kids, a new work opportunity for the hubby and the day to day of living in a community, caring for our parents and our chooks, and starting a business.
