FAQ
-
No way! Whilst designed originally for the markets, we've had lots of customers use it for their work to lug stuff around. Think interior designers, teachers, workshop facilitators...YOU TELL ME! We'd love a pic of how you are using the cart.
-
The cart is not designed for humans or animals.
Our warranty does not cover usage of this kind.
-
A pre-sale is used to help new companies like Marketday get their product onto the shelves.
A presale means you pay for the product and then wait for it to be made. This will take a couple of months and we will keep you updated as we get updates from our manufacturer.
Smaller brands also use this strategy to make sure they have enough customers to justify a new colour release or new item in their range.
For Marketday, our presale is all about getting our very first cart off the manufacturing line and into the hands of peole who support us.
-
Mostly the cart is constructed, ready to go. But there is some simple set up to do. You'll receive written instructions and a link to a video so you can follow along.
You need to attach:
- the wheels & hub cap (5 minutes)
- the fabric liners to the basket frames (2 minutes)
- 2 other small parts (30 seconds)
Still not sure? Have a look at the set up video for more information.
-
Firstly, take out all the baskets by lifting them off the mainframe.
Fold down the handle
Pull the side pins out of the handle which are located on the outside edge about half way along the mainframe. Once the pins are out, lift the handle and fold it forward. It's attached by a cord, so it won't go anywhere and you can't lose it.
Collapse the cart
- Tilt the frame forward so the wheels are off the ground
- Depress the yellow foot and push it forward at the same time. This will activate the folding mechanism encased in the base plate.
- Use your foot to push the base plate to a vertical position. The wheels will come in and it will now be folded ready to store
Check out our set up/fold down video for more info.

Yes the cart can get wet! The powder-coated aluminium frame will not rust. The canvas bags are naturally able to repel water. I'd use an umbrella in the pouring rain, but a little bit of water won't hurt. Just make sure to leave the baskets out to dry off completely before you pack them away

There are 4 tabs that have Velcro on them.
There are 4 pretty obvious spots where that Velcro attaches.
Match up the Velcro tabs, press them firmly together, and you're done.
We've included some instructions to follow and a QR code for a set up video.
-
We don't expect the connectors to snap even though they are doing a lot of the hard work. However if you have any problems, just shoot us an email and we'll send you a replacement.
-
Yes. In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, this product comes with a 2 year warranty. This doesn't include consumable items which are the parts that may wear more quickly than others.
In this case, we have replacement parts to ensure your cart has a long life. We have a full Warranty Policy that you should read as it provides definitions of what is covered and what is not. For your Warranty to be valid, we ask that you click on Warranty on our website and register your purchase with us as soon as you can.

The best way to care for your basket liners is to wipe them out with a damp cloth and ensure they are not stored when damp. You can also just spot clean any marks.
If you really need to wash them, you can. Simply disconnect them from the aluminium frame and put them into a gentle wash on their own. You want to avoid getting fluff in the Velcro, as this will reduce their grip to the frame when you re-attach them.
We do not recommend washing more than a couple of times a year as the starch that keeps them standing up will wash out. Spot clean with a cloth is best.
-
Absolutely! I wash these in with my tea towels or other similar items. You can also spray any stubborn marks. Make sure you don't store them damp as they could gather mould.
-
We've got 3 colours to kick off! Green Bean, Double Denim and Sage Advice.
Our range will evolve as our product grows with more colours and combinations. Stay subscribed to find out when our new colours release.
-
Yes. We have road tested the cart with short and tall people. Short folks have a stronger tilt on the cart, so we advise you to use your zipped lids to act as a barrier for your items to stay put. Tall folks - your heels are safe when pulling the cart along.
-
The cart and all it's parts are built to last. We don't expect there to be any breakages. However, if you experience any problems, just shoot us an email and we'll find a solution.
You may however wish to upgrade your basket liners from time to time when we release new colours. However, this would only be a style choice as the liners are also very durable and can be cleaned.
-
The wheels were designed to work easily on different types of ground while being as quiet as possible. They are also no maintenance.
