FAQ

  • No way! Whilst designed originally for the markets, we've had lots of customers use it for their work to lug stuff around. Think interior designers, teachers, workshop facilitators...YOU TELL ME! We'd love a pic of how you are using the cart.

  • Yes! The aluminium frame will not rust. The canvas bags are naturally able to repel water. I'd use an umbrella in the pouring rain, but a little bit of water won't hurt. Just make sure to leave the baskets in the sun to dry off completely before you pack them away

  • Yes. If you have a space that is 40cm x 60cm x 20cm then the cart will fit in your car in its most compact state.

  • Over time, we think the plastic connector parts may degrade or wear out from use. We will replace these parts free of charge. The basket liners can be upgraded if you want a new colour, but we expect these to last a very long time.

  • The cart will arrive in 2 boxes.

Box 1 will contain the frame folded up and ready for you to attach the wheels. Simply push them on and tighten with the allen key provided.

Box 2 will contain the basket liners.

These need to be attached to the basket frames. Again, it's a simple process. Match up the velcro tabs, press them firmly together, and you're done.

We've included some instructions to follow and a set up video is coming!

  • A pre-sale is used to help new companies like Marketday get their product onto the shelves.

A presale means you pay for the product and then wait for it to be made. This will take several weeks and we will keep you updated as we get updates from our manufacturer.

Smaller brands also use this strategy to make sure they have enough customers to justify a new colour release or new item in their range.

For Marketday, our presale is all about getting our very first cart off the manufacturing line and into the hands of peole who support us.

  • It's very simple. The cart will arrive with connectors already in place and ready for 2 medium baskets and 1 large. You simply match the connector on the hand-held basket to the connector on the frame. The basket just sits in place.

We also wanted to make sure you can customise your cart to suit you. You'll see a series of holes on the inside of the main frame. Simply snap the connector into the relevant holes for you so you can make it your own.

Still not sure? Have a look at the set up video for more information.

  • We've included a couple of extras in your box, so just replace it as needed. If you've ordered an extra basket, or a 4 basket model, you'll get more connectors in that box.

If you run out of connectors ( or misplace them) just shoot us an email and we'll send you some more,

  • Firstly, take out all the baskets by lifting them off the mainframe.

Then, tilt the frame onto its front and depress the foot at the back of the base plate. That will activate the folding mechanism encased in the base plate.

Use your foot to push the base plate to a vertical position. The wheels will come in and it will now be half folded.

Then undo the rubber covers on the outside of the cart. Pull the pin and the cart handle will fold.

Check out our set up/fold down video for more info.

  • Yes. In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, this product comes with a 2 year warranty. This doesnt include consumable items which are the parts that may wear more quickly than others.

In this case, we have replacement parts to ensure your cart has a long life. We have a full Warranty Policy that you should read as it provides definitions of what is covered and what is not. For your Warranty to be valid, we ask that you click on Warranty on our website and register your purchase with us as soon as you can.

  • The best way to care for your basket liners is to wipe them out with a damp cloth and ensure they are not stored when damp. If you really need to wash them, you can. Simply disconnect them from the aluminium frame and put them into a gentle wash on their own. You want to avoid getting fluff in the velcro, as this will reduce their grip to the frame when you re-attach them.

  • Absolutely! I wash these in with my tea towels or other similar items. Make sure you don't store them damp as they will gather mould.

  • Yes - we will evolve as our product grows and more colours and combinations will be available so you can customise your cart to your heart's desire.

  • Yes. We have road tested the cart with short and tallpeople. Short folks have a stronger tilt on the cart, so we advise you to use your zipped lids to act as a barrier for your items to stay put. Tall folks - your heel are safe when pulling the cart along.

  • Our warranty states that the cart is not for animals or children. We haven't yet tested if small animals could safely sit in the cart- so we've erred on the side of caution. We want to make sure your human and furry friends remain unharmed.

  • The wheels were designed to work easily on different types of ground while being as quiet as possible.
