Marketday Design Gets a Gold Tick - EDIT - BEST IN CLASS!

After writing the blog post below, we went on to win BEST IN CLASS for our product design category at the Good Design Awards on Friday 17th October. This award is next level, and recognises the impact that designs have on the way we live our lives on earth.

Today marks a huge milestone for us as we celebrate receiving a GOLD Design Award from Good Design Awards Australia.
What started as a little idea in a farmers market in Brisbane one Sunday morning, is now sharing a stage with other award winners like Polestar, Mecca and Clipsal.
The designs that have won both Green and Gold awards are truly ahead of the times, solving problems across the spectrum in broad categories that touch our everyday lives like housing, disability, sustainability, lifestyle, health and wellness.
It's a huge honour to be here today.
Our vision for a better more connected and sustainable future is encompassed in the way we have made the cart, the people we've worked with and the choices we've made. We know that the Good Design jury saw these things in our design and ethos. We are definitely a village, moving in the same direction.
Our humble thanks goes to the Australian Good Design awards team and jury. It's a thrill to be counted among the winners. My eternal gratitude goes to our brilliant designers Clandestine Design Group and especially lead designer Rohan McEvoy who has patiently and diligently guided us to this point.
The timing is perfect with our first shipment in production. My heart is full.
